Special Services
Austin Coleman - Counselor for Students with Special Services
I am the counselor who serves students with special services, such as students with 504 Plans and Individual Education Plans (IEP's). I work closely with the special services administrator, and our school psychologist, to ensure our students are served appropriately in the school setting. Please feel free to reach out to me regardless of your student's grade level if he or she has a 504 Plan or an IEP. If you have questions about whether or not your student qualifies for a 504 Plan or an IEP, please start that conversation with your grade level counselor as there is a process in place for these requests.
I am also Lead Teacher for the Comprehensive Remediation After-School Program which operates Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. for students who require additional academic assistance. If you feel your student would benefit from this program, please find the Afterschool CRP information in the Parent Resources section of this website.
