Crayton Festival Band
Congratulations to the Crayton Festival Band and Mr. Byrd. The band participated in the South Carolina Band Directors Association Concert Performance Assessment and earned a rating of Superior with Distinction. This is the highest rating awarded and requires the band to get a superior rating from all 4 judges. Way to go band!!!!
8th Grade Ceremony and Gala
As we approach the end of the year, we are excited to share information about two important events for our 8th graders. The Final Awards Ceremony will be held May 29 at 9:30am in the gymnasium. Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held Thursday, March 28th after our early release. All conferences will be virtual, no in person meetings will be held. Times will run from 1:30 to 4:30 and can be booked through the following link: Parent/Teacher Conferences

International Travel Interest Meeting--Current 7th Graders/Rising 8th Graders
Parents of rising 8th graders/current 7th graders: Are you interested in your student traveling internationally? Would you like to travel to England, France, and Spain in June of 2025. If interested, please attend the Parent Interest Meeting on Wednesday, March 27th @ 6:00pm in the Crayton Auditorium.

Crayton Band
Congratulations to our Crayton Jazz Band. The Jazz Band participated in the South Carolina Band Directors Association (SCBDA) Jazz Performance Assessments (JPA) on Friday, March 1, 2024. A panel of 3 judges rated the bands 1-5 in various categories, looking for key indicators of superior performance. Each judge’s score was averaged and then added to get the overall rating. The band received a rating of Superior with Distinction, which is the highest rating given.
Congratulations to Johnny Rivera-Juarez on his participation in the South Carolina Band Directors Association's 2024 Junior All-State Band. Over 9000 middle and high school band students auditioned for the opportunity to be selected to the All-State Bands and Johnny was one of 114 South Carolina Middle School Band students who performed in the ensemble at Furman University on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Jonathan Fawcett was also selected as the 1st Alternate to this ensemble. Congratulations Jonathan!

Adianiz Solis De-Leon (Flute), Richelle Cowans (Clarinet), Wyatt Dallas (Alto Saxophone), Connor Brown (Tenor Saxophone), Chloe Bryant (Baritone Saxophone), Kessiah Schofield (Trumpet), Willian Ojeda-Flores (Trumpet), Hank Dillard (Trumpet), Jay Reynolds (Trumpet), Johnny Rivera-Juarez (Trombone), Zeke Ross (Trombone), Kenyon Brooks (Trombone), Journe McCorkle (Trombone), Katie Moser (Trombone), Josiah Perry (Trombone), Jonathan Fawcett (Euphonium), Jackson Bridges (Tuba), Jeremiah Edwards (Percussion), Liam Allen (Percussion) and Matthew Gaffney (Timpani).
The Honor Band Clinic and Concert will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2024, at A.C. Flora High School. The concert will start at 6:00 PM and will feature the Middle School and High School Honor Bands.
2023-24 CRP After-School Program
Please complete the form(s) below to sign your student up for the 23-24 CRP After-School Program. The CRP After-School Program at Crayton operates on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and is free of charge for our students.
