The ROSETA (Richland One Student Experience to Africa offers a chance for rising 7th graders to go on a 10 day trip to Ghana, African in June of 2016. If you would like for your child to be considered, the ROSETA Program will host an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 6:00 pm at W.A. Perry Middle School, located at 2600 Barnhamville Road, Columbia, SC, in the Professional Development Room.

If you have any questions, please attend the meeting or call Mrs. Parsons, ROSETA Coordinator, at the school, 803-738-7224.

Electronic Devices and Medicine

Devices that were confiscated during the year are being sent home with your child today, Friday, May 22nd.

Medicine for your child needs to be picked up from Nurse Pitt by June 3rd or it will be destroyed.

Crayton 2015 Spring-Summer Workout Calendar

 7th grade girls basketball off season workouts begin Monday May 4, 2015 from 4-5:30 pm.
7th grade girls volleyball off season workouts begin Tuesday May 5, 2015 from 4-5:30 pm.
7th grade football spring practice begins Monday, May 11, 2015.

*Only 7th grade students may participate until June 1, 2015.
**All students need a current physical to participate.

Happy Spring everyone! As we start to prepare for the close of the 2014-15 school year,  I would like to remind all 6th grade parents to verify that your child has had the required Tdap immunization for 7th grade. Crayton Cavalier Golden Tickets

Parents, you may be receiving a congratulatory call from Crayton indicating that your child was nominated by an adult for being respectful, responsible, safe, and/or prepared this week. The calls will be made every Thursday after 5:00 pm, except for holidays. Once a child is nominated, they receive a Crayton Cavalier Golden Ticket and are entered into a weekly drawing for a prize.  Keep up the good work, students!

Passage of Act 155 by the South Carolina General Assembly
High School Diploma Information

With the passage of Act 155, the exit exam is no longer a requirement for high school graduation starting in 2015. The elimination of the exit exam requirement is retroactive to the graduating class of 1990.
