ACT Aspire Testing
Writing, English, Reading and Math
April 28-30th

As partners in your child’s education, it is important to ensure that they are prepared for each step along their educational journey.  One way to determine student preparedness is through assessment, and therefore we will be administering ACT Aspire to your student starting on April 28th and ending on April 30th. ACT Aspire will give us important information that will allow us to determine how your child is progressing at their current grade level, as well as along their overall path toward future college and career readiness.

Your student will be taking the ACT Aspire English (April 28th), Writing (April 28th), Reading (April 29th) and  Math (April 30th). Please be sure that they are well rested and have a good breakfast those days in order to help them do their best.

For more information concerning these tests, please visit the following website, Why Take ACT Aspire?

SC PASS ( South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards)
Science, May 7th
Social Studies, May 8th

Parents, SCPASS is a statewide assessment administered to students in grades four through eight. All students in these grade levels are required to take the SCPASS. SCPASS includes tests in two subjects: Science and Social Studies. The Science assessment will take place on May 7th and Social Studies on May 8th.

SCPASS test items measure student performance on the South Carolina Academic Standards. The SCPASS test items are aligned to the standards for each subject and grade level. Standards outline what schools are expected to teach and what students are expected to learn. Academic standards also include indicators that are statements of the specific cognitive processes and the content knowledge and skills that students must demonstrate to meet the grade-level standards. SCPASS test items are written to assess the content knowledge and skills described in the academic standards and indicators. Please be sure that your child is well rested and has a good breakfast on the days of testing in order to help them do their best.

For more information, visit the following website: SCPASS.
