Attention 6th Grader Parents and Students
Happy Spring everyone! As we start to prepare for the close of the 2014-15 school year, I would like to remind all 6th grade parents to verify that your child has had the required Tdap immunization for 7th grade. If your child has had the Tdap immunization, please make sure you have given a copy to the school nurse. Thank you so much!

Richland One Academic Literacy Challenge for Student-Athletes
The Richland One Academic Literacy Challenge for Student-Athletes
is an academic competition for student-athletes in grades 7-12.
For more information follow the link below.
MAP® (Measures of Academic Progress®) Testing
During the next few weeks, starting March 2nd, your child will take tests called Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®). We give students MAP tests to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of Reading and Mathematics. Your child will take the tests on a computer.
MAP tests are unique in that they adapt to be appropriate for your child’s level of learning. As a result, each student has the same opportunity to succeed and maintain a positive attitude toward testing. And with MAP tests, we can administer shorter tests and use less class time while still receiving detailed, accurate information about your child’s growth.
Parents will receive a copy of their child's scores at the end of the school year.
